Gary has been active in the appraisal profession since 1998 and has performed and/or managed hundreds of machinery and equipment valuations for financial, commercial, and industrial uses while in the employ of leading auction, liquidation, and appraisal service providers.
Responsibilities:
Gary utilizes his experience in order to provide guidance and oversight to the appraisal process, working directly with our clients to ensure that Republic Appraisal Services meet or exceed their expectations.
Accomplishments:
Gary received specialized training in electronics and telecommunications while serving in the United States Army. He has successfully completed the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP) course of instruction. Gary has achieved the designation of Certified Equipment Appraiser (C.E.A.) as administered by the Association of Machinery & Equipment Appraisers (AMEA). Having completed the required course work, testing, and experience requirements, Gary has earned the designation of Accredited Senior Appraiser, Machinery & Technical Specialties, as administered by the American Society of Appraisers (ASA). Gary has extensive experience in the aviation industry as a multi-engine instrument pilot, FAA Certified Airframe & Power Plant Mechanic and member of the Civil Air Patrol. He is active as a volunteer fire fighter and is affiliated with the Lancaster County Airport Commission and Aircraft Owners & Pilots Association. He is also affiliated with the Turnaround Management Association. Gary has completed appraisals and consulting projects in the United States, Canada, Mexico, Germany, Netherlands, Belgium, Malaysia, Portugal, China and Sweden and is qualified to opine on machinery and equipment values based on the numerous concepts.
Education:
Gary is a graduate of the University of Phoenix in San Francisco, California, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Management.
